No, no, she was born and raised in South Africa.  She's white.  She moved to the U.S. She is an African-American. Now my pal Herman, he's black, about ten or twelve years ago he started up with this African American label.  This guy was born and raised in L.A., smack in a nasty part of South Central.   Hell, what is he, a South Central American?  He's about as African as I am European - i.e., not at all. But born and raised in Africa, move to the U.S., you're African American. Doesn't matter if you're white or black.
