The market is ripe for a FX company to undercharge the competition and live their older server farms and only upgrading when absolutely necessary. You are completely off your rocker. * You think he makes a LOT more sense than I think he does.

I'd also question whether it improves on the original, but that would be like trying to decide whether death by lethal injection was an improvement over death by electrocution.

Now, The Island is a re*cough*ripoff*cough*make of Logan's Run.

Are there ANY movie remakes of TV series that improved on the original? Logan's Run. Not only on the movie, but the books too. * You've lost me. The question was: movie remakes of TV series. Logan's Run is a TV series of a movie, and a movie of a book series. So are some of the other things we're talking about. The tv series was more or less a continuation of the movie, with the stupidest bits thrown out, and some better parts added in. *

They had a separate list for 'continuations' which includes Star Trek; but oddly they don't list Batman under ANY category. * The Monkees Oh wow, I'd forgotten Head. Oh wow, now I'm starting to remember Head. Only movie I ever saw where afterwards I honestly didn't know which parts I thought I remembered were actually in the film and which ones I'd dreamt while dozing off during it. (I was about thirteen and it was on tv _way_ after my bedtime.)
